					How we came about!
In the Spring of 2007, Mayor Sal Perillo called for
volunteers to address the improvement and level of
					perception of

restaurants in Ocean City. A meeting was held in April at
the Music Pier under the leadership of George Bauer and
Eileen Friedman of the Mayor's Commission on Volunteers.
Many members of the restaurant community showed their
					support by their attendance.

A Task Force was then established to set direction for a
series of organizational meetings through the Spring and
early Summer. Finally, in July of 2007, an Association was
formed and adopted the name, Ocean City Restaurant
Association. We now meet once a month to discuss issues of
common interest and provide training on topical needs as
					warranted.

The mission of the Ocean City Restaurant Association is to
make it known within our community, as well reaching out to
all visitors coming to our great city, that there are many
wonderful dining experiences to be had in Ocean City.

What our town has to offer:

Ocean City has many diverse dining and eating opportunities
from white linen dining to small cozy cafes and snack shops.
We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, pizza, snacks, desserts,
ice cream, take-out, delivery, catering and banquets in
unique settings from ocean front to bay-side dining, and
everything in between. These experiences are available not
only in the summer months, but also in the off season as
					well.

This website will help guide you through the high season as
well as the off season by listing: special events,
restaurant hours, menus and numerous activities occurring
					around the city.
Our wish is that you find everything you need within this
site to make your stay in Ocean City the best that it can
be! If you have any questions, please email us at
